Calm works with compatible USB-C and USB-A phones, tablets, earbuds, accessories, and many USB-C laptops. It also includes dedicated charging areas for compatible wireless-charging earbuds and Apple Watch.
Can FlexTurtle Calm charge a laptop?
Yes. The primary retractable USB-C cable delivers up to 45W when used by itself. It is best suited to USB-C laptops that accept 45W or less; higher-power laptops may charge more slowly, especially while in use.
Can I charge Apple and Android devices at the same time?
Yes. You can charge compatible Apple and Android devices together using the retractable USB-C cables and front USB ports. Actual charging speed depends on the connected devices and how many charging points are in use.
Can I use all seven charging and power points at once?
Yes, provided every connected device is compatible. Calm is designed for simultaneous use, but its low-voltage charging power is shared, so not every port will deliver its maximum output at the same time.
How is wired charging power shared?
Used alone, the primary retractable USB-C cable provides up to 45W. The secondary retractable cable, front USB-C port, and front USB-A port each provide up to 20W when used alone.
When the primary cable and one secondary port are used, output is 20W + 20W. When two or three secondary ports are used together, those secondary ports share 15W (5V/3A). With all four wired outputs in use, the primary cable provides 20W while the other three share 15W.
Can all wired ports fast-charge at the same time?
No. Maximum figures apply to the listed single-port configurations. When several devices are connected, Calm automatically shares available power across the active outputs.
Can I charge my phone on the wireless pad?
No. The 5W wireless pad is designed for compatible wireless-charging earbuds, not phones. Charge your phone with one of the retractable USB-C cables or a front USB port.
What are the two charging areas on top for?
The earbud area provides up to 5W for compatible wireless-charging earbud cases. The watch area provides up to 2.5W for compatible Apple Watch models.
How long are the retractable USB-C cables?
Each built-in USB-C cable extends up to approximately 39.4 inches (1 meter), giving you comfortable reach from the bedside table.
How do I retract the built-in cables?
Pull the cable gently to release the locking mechanism, then guide it back into the base. Keep hold of the connector while it retracts and do not let the cable snap back.
Can the built-in cables be replaced?
The retractable cables are integrated into the product and are not user-replaceable. If a cable is damaged or stops working, please use the contact form so our support team can help.
How do I control the lamp?
Tap the metal touch control strip to move through the three brightness levels. The lamp produces a warm 3000K light designed for comfortable bedside use.
Does charging work when the light is turned off?
Yes. The lamp and charging functions operate independently, so compatible devices can continue charging while the light is off.
What can I use the top AC outlet for?
The top outlet provides convenient access for a compatible bedside device or power adapter. Always confirm that the plug type and electrical rating match your Calm version, and do not connect high-power appliances.
Can I use FlexTurtle Calm internationally?
Calm accepts AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz input and is offered in US, EU, UK, and AU plug versions. Choose the version that matches your destination; depending on the country and outlet, a suitable plug adapter may still be required.
What is the included adhesive pad for?
The optional adhesive pad helps keep the base steady when you pull and retract the cables. Apply it only to a clean, dry, flat surface that is suitable for adhesive products.
